Cancellation Policies

Coworkly allows hosts to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate & Strict) that will be enforced to protect both client and talent, alike. Each listing and booking on the Coworkly app will clearly state the cancellation policy. Clients, while viewing their project plans, are able to review any penalties and also cancel by clicking โ€˜Cancelโ€™ on the respective booking. A host will be able to see the number of bookings a client has canceled over the past 12 months when the client submits their booking request.

Moderate: 90% refund 2 days prior to project start date

  • 90% of Creative fees are always refunded if the project has not started.
  • The Coworkly project fee is refundable if the client cancels 24 hours prior to 9AM of project start date. If a client books a project that overlaps with any part of an existing booking, we wonโ€™t refund the Coworkly fee if they decide to cancel.
  • Project fees (the total project rate you're charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Coworkly within 24 hours of start date.
  • Coworkly will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
  • A booking is officially canceled when the client clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Projects > Cancel.
  • Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Talent Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations by Coworkly for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service. Please review these exceptions.
  • Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

If the client starts the project and decides to end the project in the first half of the project timeline, the client will not be charged the final 50%. However, the client may be responsible for any external expenses accrued during the project. If the client cancels after 50% of phases have been reached, the talent may choose to charge the final 50% payment.
