The Scope

The goal of this project is to take your company's brand identity and packaging, and collateral into a fresh version of itself, aligning your current and future goals with a new look & feel. We'll conduct a brand audit, assess your goals, & create a new visual identity. The goal of this project is not to completely redesign from scratch. Instead, we'll assess what's currently "working" and what's "not working" with your current identity. At that point, we'll conceive, design, and launch a fresh take on your logotype, logomark, color palettes, typography, visual treatments, packaging, and brand collateral.

Process & Approach

Your organization will provide as much information as possible about your current brand infrastructure - how customers currently interact with your brand, current brand collateral, and your company's likes/dislikes about your current brand, etc. Discovery Call - Brand Audit & Aspirations We will discuss your organization's, goals (short-term and long-term), target customer/audience, style preferences and brand strategy. This will also be an opportunity to review any reference materials and handoff any existing relevant assets. Mood Boards / Concept Development: Using the information gathered in the discovery phase, we'll create 2-3 directions for creative/moods. Concept / Direction Presentation: We will review up to three creative directions. The goal of this presentation will be to decide on one direction and gather feedback for the first round of design. Design: Round 1 Work will begin on logotype, logomark, primary/secondary colors, font choices, photography treatments, other visual guidelines, and rough mockups for assets/packaging. Design Presentation Round 1: We will review the logotype, logomark, primary/secondary colors, font choices, photography treatments, other visual guidelines, and rough mockups for assets/packaging. The goal of this presentation will be to gather feedback for design Round 2. Design: Round 2 Using the feedback from Round 1, the logotype, logomark, colors, and fonts will be refined, while fleshing out broader visual guidelines (including usage guidelines, logo sizing, etc). Brand Visual Guidelines Presentation: We will review the brand visual guidelines, including the updated logotype, logomark, colors, fonts, usage guidelines, and brand applications. The goal of the presentation will be to gather a final round of feedback. Brand Collateral Discovery/Research Based on the information collected on a discovery call, we'll draft an information architecture for all collateral/material. Brand Collateral Design Round 1 Based on the approved new identity & info architecture, we'll design packaging/collateral, creating draft mockups against provided die cuts & specs. Brand Collateral Design Round 2 After collecting feedback, we'll design final mockups to spec and collect final feedback. Approval and Final Delivery: We will apply your final agreed-upon feedback to all deliverables and deliver all final files.
